"Nothing good happens after 2 A.M." was the theme of a recent episode of How I Met Your Mother, and it was hilarious. That was just one opinion, however. Ted's opinion. Well, Ted's mother's opinion to be exact. The other opinion was "Legendary moments happen after 2 A.M," and Barney believes that.
They're both right to some degree, but I'd have to go with Ted on this one. If you're out at 2 A.M., just go home. What do you think?
I think it depends on the company. I've had some great times after 2 a.m., and some of the best conversations shared over noodles. Deeper thoughts about life seem to pop up after 2 a.m. and everyone seems to open up more. The hard part is staying up after that between the 5am-6am... almost impossible, unless your out somewhere where you can catch a good sunrise.
ReplyDeleteHaha, I am not worried about weight. I was just a bit shocked that after 60 years my dad still hasn't learned that you aren't suppose to mention weight to women. ^____^
ReplyDeleteI've had great things happen after 2 a.m. Great conversations, great moments with people I care about. I think the reason why people think amazing things happen in the wee hours of the morning is because you feel like the only people that are awake in the world is you and the other person. You feel a sense of "solitude". There are less distractions at 2 a.m.
ReplyDeleteThose instances are few and far between. If you're always out at 2 a.m. then I agree with you Gia At Best, go home! Freakin' go home!
