Here is the good news. Jaded Gloomie is a pesky little bug that we sometimes ingest...but just like antivenom it really makes us stronger in the long run. I say recognize him for making us stronger in the long run, instead of the short term discomfort that we feel right after ingestion. In the past I have found surrounding myself with friends, laughter, and sometimes alcohol, tend to ease the short term pain associated with Gloomie. Most things ingested pass quickly. :)
I don't know who posted the link to the photos, but I'm trying to figure out your message. First of all, I think those are amazing photos.
My first thought was perhaps I was supposed to relate with the girl; that she was also feeling the same. Then I flipped through the other photos and thought maybe you were showing that there are bigger issues in the world. I know there's bigger concerns than my trivial dilemmas. I was just curious. Maybe I'm over analyzing. It wouldn't be the first time. :)
If "anonymous" is suggesting there are bigger problems in the world...I'd like to open up the discussion with the following:
The fundamental problem with making a suggestion that "you should buck up because there are bigger problems in the world" completely disregards why there is poverty to begin with.
First off, over population, second, lack of education and third and most important the CASTE SYSTEM in India. Let's not forget that the Hindu root beliefs suggest that if you're born in the wrong class, you're f*ed. The poverty is a symptom to a bigger problem in that culture...and making someone feel guilty for cynicism because of it, is a blind accusation.
But I digress...
I stand firm on this and on my initial comment...that Gloomie probably tastes like a peep! I'd eat it in a second!
To anonymous. I think that posting a picture to provoke a thought...is the same thing as trying to send a message. To assume that the only way that the picture can be interpreted is through a pink dress is in and of itself a judgement...to which you said that is not your intention.
The mere mention that you say that you do not accuse, judge, or sterotype peoples blogs has me thinking that you already have. Thats alright, I think that we all do that to some degree, heck thats why we read these things. Good pics though, kinda makes one think.

I didn't have a message. It is a thought provoking picture. The only way you could relate to it, is the pink dress.
I can't accuse, judge, stereotype somebody based on blogs.
